About Nisha

From Rajasthan to Hong Kong — and back to the classroom.

I'm Nisha Soni: engineer by qualification, teacher by conviction — and I know exactly what a "fear-and-focus problem" feels like, because I've lived one myself.

My story

I restarted after a long gap. That's exactly why I understand your child's wall.

I grew up in Rajasthan, earned my M.Tech, collected degrees, certifications, and published research along the way — and then, like many women, stepped away from my career for a stretch of life that doesn't fit on a CV. Now, from my home in Mei Foo, Kowloon, I'm building my teaching practice again from the ground up.

Why does that matter to you? Because restarting means I live daily with the exact feeling your child brings to a maths worksheet: the fear of being judged, the worry of looking slow, the voice that says "maybe I'm just not good at this any more." That fear is a wall. I've stood in front of my own. I know it doesn't come down through pressure — it comes down through calm, clarity, and someone in your corner.

And in Hong Kong I watch the same scene every evening that you probably see at home: bright children folding into their screens, drifting from study, quietly deciding they're "bad at maths" because one chapter, taught one way, once, didn't land. I started WonderWell because that wall is not permanent — it's just undiagnosed.

What I believe

Calm Minds. Confident Learners.
In that order.

Fear first, always

An anxious mind can't do maths — so every class starts calm. That's not softness, that's how learning actually switches on.

Struggle is normal

Brains grow by lifting heavy things. A wrong answer isn't a verdict — it's a signal to try a new angle. Mistakes are material, never shame.

Consistency beats intensity

Not a miracle month — the same warm, steady presence every single week. That's the thing struggling children need most and get least.
